Everyone wants the perfect family photo for holiday greeting cards, and finding the ideal card to put it in can be as challenging. Here are some websites that offer designer holiday photo cards that will display your photo and personal message.

Tiny Prints.com offers a very large selection of unique photo cards, close to 500. The cards can be edited and viewed online before purchased. The font and colors can be changed as well. On average, depending on the quantity ordered, the price is about $1.70 to $2 per card, not including shipping. White envelopes come free with the cards, but colored envelopes can be ordered for a small additional charge.
One of the nicest Christmas greeting photo cards they have is their Joyful Wishes design, a multi photo card which allows for three separate photos with the words, “Peace, Joy and Love” underneath - perfect for a family with three children.
Minted
Minted.com offers a variety of elegant holiday photo cards – 185 in all. The customer can choose the type of paper, such as a matte recycled or pearlized (for an extra charge) and whether it is a flat card or fold out (again an extra charge applies). There is also a choice of colors and fonts. A designer at the company will put the card together based on the requirements and email a proof for approval.
A favorite card of theirs is the Holiday Dot Holiday design because its simple stylish design makes it look like the cover of a magazine.
Photo Affections
Photo Affections.com offers around 125 colorful fun holiday photo cards. The cards here are less expensive than other sites. It doesn’t appear that colors or fonts can be changed but a greeting and family name is entered and a designer makes sure it looks right. A proof is sent for approval. If there is appropriate space, additional text can be requested such as Bible verses, quotes or other special sentiments for no additional charge.
A cute design is their Ornaments card where the photos of each family member appear in Christmas balls.
The Prince and the Paper
The Prince and the Paper.com does not offer as many designs as the other sites, only about a dozen, but they pride themselves on the fact that everything is customizable including the colors, fonts (a choice of 28) and layout. Linen or pearl luster card stock is an extra charge.
Their design called, Your Family Year, is particularly interesting because not only can more than one photo be added, but there is space to include a short holiday letter right on the front of the card.
Little Star Greetings
Little Star Greetings.com offers some unique Christmas photo cards, around 40 in all, including holiday birth card announcements, which is nice for announcing a baby born just before the holidays. The cards on this site are quite pretty. A glossy or matte finish is offered and the greeting can be changed. Cards average about $2 per card.
A stylish photo greeting card is their Happiness Photo Holiday Card because it uses more non-traditional holiday colors of ice blue and taupe.
All of these sites suggest ordering your holiday photo cards as early as possible to make sure they arrive in plenty of time to address and mail off.
