A free Christmas carol game may be just what is needed to spread good will and Christmas cheer at work, school, or home with friends and relatives this December holiday.

Even if one is not musically inclined, a free Christmas carol game is an appealing way for naysayers to get into the holiday spirit. Awaken the memories of seasons past by testing holiday song knowledge. Offer incentives for the winners, such as books, movies, CDs, and coupons with a Christmas theme. It is always amazing how contagious good will and Christmas cheer is with a great free holiday game.

Free Christmas Carol Game Invitations

Send out a festive email to friends and colleagues about the holiday song contest to see who may be interested. Alternatively, come up with a colorful printed invitation, complete with RSVP information and a list of prizes. Then distribute the free Christmas carol game to everyone, even those that did not respond! They may ignore it, but most likely they will be unable to resist the temptation.

Holiday Song Contest List

Once invitations are completed, create the holiday contest handout. It will consist of a list of twenty-five well-known Christmas tunes. Here's the catch: only the first letters of each word in the first few holiday song lyrics will be listed. A space will then need to be provided for contestants to write down the song name, once it is figured out. Here is a list of Christmas carols (with answers).

  1. DTTSIAOHOS - Jingle Bells
  2. OCAYFJAT - O Come All Ye Faithful

Set a Christmas Contest Time Limit

Give people a sensible time limit for the holiday song contest. For colleagues or long distance friends, it may be a day or two. At a Christmas gathering, it might be fun for friends and family to work on the Christmas carol game together in a shorter timeframe. Use a timer for added excitement!

Adding some seasonal, holiday fun into the corporate world this December or to spice up a Christmas party can be easy with this simple, free Christmas carol game. Watch even the most scrooge-like colleagues, friends, and family members catch the good will and cheer this holiday.
