Have a group of friends and don't know what to dress up as for Halloween together? Here are some unique ideas to that are fun and easy to do for October 31st.

Going out with a group for Halloween, and want to dress up as something fun and interesting? Go as the fashion police, scary beauty contestants, the colors of the rainbow or fly in as the birds and the bees.

Raid a Halloween Party as Fashion Police

This costume works well for a pair up to a larger group. Get reflective vests, a flashlight, pad of paper and pen. Then try to have everyone wear similar outfits underneath so it can look like a uniform like a white shirt and tan pants. There is also the option to get police outfits, but it is not necessary.

A bit of acting is what makes this outfit really work, and it can be a lot of fun at a party. Go around with the flashlights and write tickets for people for being fashionable and unfashionable. Have fun with writing up the tickets with messages like “Ticket for Looking Spooktacular” for a good costume or “Ticket for Scaring the Pants Off People” for a scary costume or “Ticket for Being Fashionably Impaired” for someone who is not wearing a Halloween costume. Put the date and sign with a fun name like Constable I. Zonyou.

Go as Beauty Contestants for Halloween

Speaking of beauty and fashion, this is a pretty easy costume for a group, in fact the more the merrier. This idea can be done in a more “sexy” and serious way or humorously. Evening gowns, a sash, a tiara and a full face of makeup are the basics. If men want to be beauty contestant together they might need to pad their dresses and get a wig. Zombie beauty contestants can also be fun by adding dark makeup around the eyes and having a white face, along with messed up hair and blood splatters.

Have fun with the sashes and do a little acting to match. For example, have each sash read something different like “Miss Uncongeniality” and have the person walk around being rude and obnoxious or “Most Likely to Stab You in the Back” and have the zombie beauty contestant carrying a bloody plastic knife.

Dress up as the Colors of the Rainbow

If there are three people, go as the primary colors red, blue and yellow. Each person just had to find clothes in their color. If possible, get a wig or dye hair to represent one’s color. If they're feeling really gung ho, people can paint their faces and any exposed skin to be their rainbow color.

If there are enough people, go as the colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green and blue if there are five; add on purple if there are six. To be technically correct, and if there are seven people in the group, add the colors indigo and violet after the color blue. Make sure to dance in a row according to the rainbow color sequence at the Halloween party.

Get Punny with Costumes, Like Going as the Birds and the Bees

Take sayings that have a little pun in them. For example, dress up as "the birds and the bees”. This is a good theme no matter how many people are in the group. Try to make it an even number of people who are dressed as birds and as bees. Hitting a costume shop might be easier for both costumes, but it’s possible to do it at home.

For the bee costume, get a brown and yellow striped shirt or get all brown or black clothes and create stripes by sewing (or stapling if in a hurry) yellow strips of cloth. Then make some antennae out of pipe cleaners and attach them to a headband for the bees. Bug antennae and wings are also usually very easy to find in shops that sell Halloween costumes.

For the birds, make a beak out of papier-mâché, paint it yellow, punch holes on the side and tie ribbon to it so that it can be tied around the head. Then buy feathers and a feather boa or two, all in the same color to match a top and pants or skirt.

Going out with a group for Halloween is fun, and it can be even more entertaining to have an original costume theme. Enjoy going as fashion police, zombie beauty contestants, the colors of the rainbow or the birds and the bees.
