If you are going to a Halloween party for groan-ups this year, you’ll want to choose a creative, easy costume that’s sure to be original at the boo bash. Let’s take a look at some spooktacular Halloween costume ideas for groups.
Disney Princesses
Ahh, so classic. So identifiable. The Disney Princesses are a hit at any Halloween party. Depending on how many people in your group, you could consider Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Jasmine, Tinkerbell or any combination thereof.
If you have a guy in your group, make him Prince Charming, or if you have more than one guy, mix it up a bit and have guys be princesses too (hilarious!) or add Maleficent (villain from Sleeping Beauty) or the Evil Queen from Snow White. Other good Disney-themed group costumes would be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Buzz, Woody and some toys from Toy Story, a bunch of Dalmatians and a Cruella DeVil, Alice in Wonderland characters or Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Wendy & the kids.
Cartoon Groups
Other cartoon-inspired groups great for a party are Teletubbies, Scooby Doo and the Gang, Backyardigans, Charlie Brown gang, Dora/Diego characters, Superheroes (Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, Spiderman etc), the Simpsons, the Flintstones and/or Rubbles, the Jetsons, the Wiggles, South Park kids, or Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick and company.
Movie/TV Theme Costumes
There is much inspiration for Halloween group costume in movies and television. Groups made up of characters from Star Wars, Desperate Housewives characters, Howie Mandel and the suitcase girls from Deal or No Deal, Indiana Jones, Transformers, the movie “300”, Pirates of the Caribbean, cast of Grease, Star Trek characters, characters from A Christmas Story, Ghostbusters, Addams Family, Munsters, a group of Tim Burton movie characters (Edward Scissorhands, Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas, Victor and Victoria from Corpse Bride) or Wizard of Oz would all be fun ideas.

Other great ideas for groups include playing cards (spades, clubs, hearts, diamonds), Robert Palmer and the “Addicted to Love” girls, a group of prisoners, the band KISS, a group of nuns and a priest, the Fruit of the Loom characters, the Beatles, bridesmaids and a bride, a bowling ball and pins, a group of ‘Cafeteria Lunch Ladies,’ cheerleaders/football players, a gaggle of witches, Michael Jackson and the Zombies from “Thriller”, or easily create a group of ‘black-eyed peas’ by wearing matching white sweatshirts with the letter “P” on them and makeup blacked-out eyes.
