Falcon was found safe at home and the incident was declared a hoax by authorities.
Plantraco Microflight, a remote control airplane and blimp company located in Canada, is offering an official "Balloon Boy Halloween Kit" for $19.99. The company is selling direct to consumers as well as to online Halloween costume sites.
The kit includes a 38-inch metallic flying saucer balloon, laser cut gondola and instructions on how to attach the gondola to the balloon. Customers need to provide their own helium, string and box to complete the costume.
Plantraco’s website advises customers to ring the doorbell and say, "I’m supposed to be flying in there, but my dad said to stay in the box for the show."
