The annual Seasons Christmas Show brings together gift giving, entertaining and home décor experts, offering visitors a unique chance to prepare for the holiday season.

Every year, industry experts gather at the annual Seasons Christmas Show, an exhibition of the best and finest in holiday dining, gift options, and party ideas. The show represents a unique learning and shopping experience for anyone who loves the holiday season. Here's what visitors can expect from this year's Seasons Christmas Show:

Celebrity Guest Appearances and Seminars

  • Holiday Decorating: Jane Lockhart, host of W Networks decorating show Colour Confidential, will teach visitors how to create gorgeous table settings and centrepieces, and Amber Richman of Cool, Green and Shady will demonstrate how to decorate the home with fresh greens.
  • Gift Giving: Karen Kirk and Austen Gilliland of Canadian Living magazine will offer lessons in gift-wrapping and bow-tying.
  • Easy Entertaining: Elizabeth Baird will recreate seasonal favourites from the new Canadian Living Slow Cooker Collection Cookbook; the Dairy Farmers of Canada will demonstrate great cheese parings and accompaniments; and Kerry Beal, a.k.a. the Chocolate Doctor, will treat audiences to the pleasures of chocolate-dipping and truffle-making.
  • Trendy Fashions: Lynn Spence, style expert on City TV’s CityLine, will show audiences how to go from work to play with versatile holiday looks.

A Beary Merry Christmas

Shoppers are encouraged to join in the holiday spirit by helping those who are less fortunate. The Peel Children's Aid Foundation will be treating visitors to an 18-foot Christmas tree decorated with hundreds of teddy bears looking for new homes; the bears are being sold as part of the "Beary Merry Christmas" campaign, to raise funds for the Holiday Wishes Campaign.

Visitors are invited to purchase teddy bears, and to contribute to the Holiday Wishes Campaign by bringing in donations of winter clothing including hats, gloves, mittens and scarves. After all, the holiday season is not just about shopping: it is about giving, and spreading joy and good cheer.
